Concert by Eve Watters

9 September 2004

Last Update: 27 September 2004

Eve Watters adds new sparkle to timeless traditions through an eclectic repertoire of the tales of Virginia and faraway places. A singing harper and multi-intrumentalist whose storytelling has been described as “absolutely enthralling,” Eve lives in Charlottesville and has performed for audiences throughout Virginia and the United States, as well as in Great Britain and Australia. The photo at right is from her web site.

Concerts showcase the harp (gut and wire-strung), voice and storytelling, and incorporate concertina, banjo, autoharp, Native American flute, drum or dulcimer, folk ballads, comic turns, love songs and lullabies. Eve never fails to charm audiences of all ages and her high spirits gently invite participation. Admission is free — all are welcome.
