Exhibit of photographs by Pam and Cable Risdon

Last Update: 23 August 2004

Pam and Cable Risdon are full time photographers living in Alexandria, VA. They also own a home in Doe Hill. Balancing their professional and personal work can sometimes be a challenge, but their true love of nature and the outdoors always dominates their interests. Cable is a graduate from Virginia Tech, Pam holds a degree in photography from the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC.

“Our hearts are always in the country but our livelihood is here in the city for now. We love our home in Doe Hill and feel that when we found it we found our true peace and tranquility. Our lives are an abundance of contradictions but some things will always hold true: what is made by God’s hand, the beauty of nature and it’s gifts. We feel so blessed to have the ability to express our gratitude through photography and only hope we do justice to our natural subject matter.”

The exhibit catalog in PDF format [19 Kb] lists the titles of all of the photographs in the exhibit and their prices. There is also an article in The Recorder, 18 June 2004, p. 8, about the exhibit. [43 Kb]   You must have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to access these files.
