Highland Quilt Guild

Last Update: 25 November 2004

The quilt guild is a group of women who are interested in learning more about the art of quilting. We have been meeting for two years and have tried many creative and interesting forms of quilting. Meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Arts Council room at the Highland Center in Monterey. On the fourth Saturday we hold special workshops in the Modular Conference Building adjacent to the Center.

In July 2004 the guild mounted an exhibit and program on botanical quilts in conjunction with the Arts Council and the Monterey Garden Club.

In December 2004 the guild exhibited some of their work in the Mountain View Room of the Highland County Library.
