The Highland County Arts Council is a nonprofit [501(c)3] organization supported by contributions from friends, the sale of tickets, and by certain grant programs based on these contributions. Much of our work is done by enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. However, there are many areas where the Council needs your contributions.

Your donations are used to assist in offsetting current operating expenses including rent and insurance, for a student scholarship fund for a Highland High School Senior who plans to continue his/her art education, for guest artists to come and perform in the community, for supplies for the Highland High School Art Club, and for expenses connected to publicity like our website, printing posters, advertising in newspapers and on the radio.

We hope that you will share our mission to strengthen and maintain cultural activities in Highland County. If you have suggestions or comments, please contact us. If you are a performer or artist who would like to share your talent, tell us more.

To join the Council please print out this form and mail it, with your check payable to Highland County Arts Council, to the address at the top. Or simply write the same information on a blank sheet of paper – we aren’t picky! We are a 501(c)3 organization and we provide no products or services to members in return for dues. Hence your entire contribution is deductible for Federal income tax purposes.

Personal information collected is used only within the Council. We do not sell, trade, or by any other means make personal information on our members available to other organizations. We thank you for your contribution in any amount!
